Pep Talk from Kid President

The video above is one that we started our day out with today and had a fabulous discussion as well!  I asked the students what the message was in the video after we watched it twice.  We discussed a lot of points "Kid President" was trying to make, but mostly, what he was telling the students as well.

This led to a wonderful 20+ minute discussion about being awesome, not boring, and being creative.  We discussion believing in ourselves and trying new things.  In my mind as a teacher, it was a discussion that was more meaningful than any book or lesson could have been.  The students really thought hard about this video and the need to have reason to "dance"(watch and you will understand).  

We decided to share it with you.  Do you choose to be awesome or boring?  Which path will you take?
