Guided Reading is Rolling!

After building routines, assessing students in various ways, we are now rolling with guided reading.  The students were ready and excited to get reading in their groups, as was I.  It is important for parents and students to remember that guided reading groups are flexible and students might be moved from group to group after each theme based on assessments and observations.

Along with guided reading strategies and skills, we will be focusing on determining important information, rereading to build comprehension, sequencing, and recognizing synonyms in our large group mini lessons.
